Occupational Therapist Position - Ballina, NSW

Sunshine Speech & Allied Health is a growing multidisciplinary clinic based in Ballina, NSW. We are currently seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team and work with children, adolescents and families in a supportive, neuro-affirming and relationship-centred environment.

Occupational Therapist (OT)

Sunshine Speech & Allied Health (SSAH) is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Ballina, NSW.

This role is ideal for an OT who values neuro-affirming, relationship-based practice and wants to work in a clinic that genuinely prioritises people - clients and clinicians. You’ll have the opportunity to work with children and/or adults across clinic, school, home, and community settings, with your caseload shaped around your interests, strengths, and capacity.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist at SSAH, you will:

  • Assess and support clients to achieve meaningful functional, sensory, emotional-regulation, and participation goals

  • Deliver evidence-based, client-centred therapy aligned with NDIS best practice

  • Collaborate closely with families, support networks, schools, and other professionals

  • Contribute to a supportive multidisciplinary team culture

  • Complete documentation in line with professional, ethical, and NDIS requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist

  • Alignment with neuro-affirming and strengths-based practice

  • Interest in paediatrics, adults, or mixed caseloads (your choice)

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

  • New graduates and experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply
