Why Join Us?

Integrative, inclusive and compassionate allied-health — empowering communication and participation across the lifespan.

Sunshine Speech & Allied Health is a vibrant, multidisciplinary clinic based in Ballina on the NSW North Coast. We provide evidence-based Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy for children, teens and adults. Our practice steps away from a deficit model — we’re client-centred, strength-based, relationship-focused and proudly neurodiversity-affirming.

Our team supports a wide range of needs, including speech sound disorders (e.g., CAS), language and literacy, AAC, paediatric feeding, social communication, sensory regulation and complex disability. We work closely with families, educators, support workers and broader MDTs to create practical, functional supports that fit real life.

At Sunshine Speech, culture matters. We value kindness, clinical excellence and curiosity. Clinicians are backed by thoughtful systems, warm admin support and regular supervision — with time for learning, reflective practice and peer collaboration. You’ll find a diverse caseload, purposeful resources and a leadership team committed to sustainable workloads, quality care and continuous improvement.

If you’re passionate about making meaningful impact in a coastal regional community — and you value evidence-based practice delivered with humanity — you’ll feel at home here.
