Speech Pathology in Ballina
Supporting communication, connection and participation across the lifespan
At Sunshine Speech & Allied Health, we provide speech pathology services for children, adolescents and adults in Ballina and the surrounding region.
Our speech pathologists support a wide range of communication, feeding and swallowing needs using evidence-based, neuro-affirming and relationship-centred approaches. Therapy is individualised, respectful and grounded in felt safety, recognising that meaningful progress happens when people feel understood, regulated and supported.
Our approach to speech pathology
We prioritise clinic-based therapy wherever possible, as this allows us to create a predictable, well-regulated environment that supports attention, safety and learning.
Our clinic spaces are intentionally designed to:
Reduce sensory overload
Support regulation and engagement
Allow for consistent routines and therapeutic structure
While clinic-based therapy is our preferred model, preschool, school or home visits may be considered on a case-by-case basis when this is clinically indicated and in the best interests of the client.
